Our journey began with a creative Parisian-born girl who always found joy in expressing herself through various forms of art. With dreams in her heart and a passion for creativity, she landed what many would call a "big girl job" at a prestigious corporation. However, she soon encountered a disheartening reality: her vibrant personality and bold style were often deemed "too direct" or "too much."
Frustrated by the notion that her authenticity had to be dimmed for the sake of acceptability, she began to question the parameters placed on her self-expression.
Many women around her felt the weight of societal expectations, living in a muted palette of "looking acceptable," constrained by unfounded standards that had nothing to do with their capabilities or talents.
This realization sparked a fire within her— a determination to empower women to break free from these constraints. Inspired by her journey and the stories of countless others, she set out to curate and design handmade accessories that not only showcase the beauty of ethnic craftsmanship but also serve as a celebration of courage and individuality.
In a society that often dictates norms, we remind our customers that they do not have to conform to preconceived ideas of what is acceptable to wear or when to wear it. Being bold does not equate to being aggressive or disrespectful; instead, it is about embodying confidence and authenticity in every decision, including how one chooses to adorn themselves.
